Historical Museum in Slivnitsa

The Museum

With gratitude to everyone who stood behind the cause of preserving the historical memory of Slivnitsa, we present a report on the funds raised and how they were used.

The donated funds were provided by

BGN 20,000: donations collected from 150 donors during the charity event on 18.09.2025, organised on the occasion of Stoilka Arsova's 50th birthday.

BGN 11,688: a donation from Stoilka's Causes Foundation, provided from Stoilka Arsova's personal funds.

The funds were used for

In 2025, in coordination with the museum management, the following was spent:

• 5 museum display cases (BGN 4,740)

• 9 banners presenting the history of the Meldia station in Bulgarian and English (BGN 2,160)

• Restoration at the National Library of a historical document: a writ of execution from Alexander Battenberg to Emin Aga regarding his resettlement in Bitola, Macedonia, after the Liberation (BGN 140)

In 2026:

• Restoration at the National Library of military maps from the Serbo-Bulgarian War (BGN 319.21)

• A hologram installation provided for free use, including one holographic image of Dedo Pune the Benefactor (BGN 23,704)

We inform all donors that we will organise a special event at the Historical Museum in Slivnitsa, where everyone will be able to see what has been achieved with our shared efforts and the funds you donated to this cause.

In a separate publication we will also present information about the items donated during the event, as well as about the financial donations intended for the creation of the family tree of the Pune Kolev family, which is currently being worked on.
